My First 10KM Run

It wasn't my plan to join the Mont Albo Run since I was all set to join the May 1st Amazon Run so I can practice more on the road. However, my friend, Vahn, one of Dagan Caritas runners encouraged me to join since I've endured a 35KM run and walk with the group, and conquered Osmeña Peak, Kawasan Falls Traverse, and the Guadalupe-RCPI Trail. So I'm good to go for 10 KM this time.
I was so hesitant because I know my limits as a runner. I don't want to push it because I still want to enjoy my passion for dancing and hurting my happy feet from running is the last thing I want to happen.
However, I did it. Still having cold feet, I ran and walked the whole 10 KM with a lot of guts, faith, prayers, and cheers from my friends.
For others, their main goal was to finish the run in less than an hour. Well, mine was different. I was aiming to finish it before the sun comes up or else I'll be toasted again hahaha!
I finished at 1:30:54 with a finisher's medal and a big smile on my face because I reached the finish line just before the sun came out peeking in hahaha!
Definitely, it was a learning experience for me that taught me to believe in myself more and be grateful to the people who helped me go through this milestone.
You know who you are guys... Thanks a lot! 🙂
